There is your problem. The BSD ports file is not part of our release and 
needs more changes to build the Squid v7 series.

Specifically check the parameters it is passing to our ./configure 
script. All the options mentioned in our RELEASENOTES.html will need 
attention and/or changes.

If the ports Makefile is doing anything with squid.conf or patching our 
code, those parts will need checking as well.
