[squid-users] HTTPS request times out going through Squid proxy

Thanks Matus for responding 🙂
Following is what the relevant line in squid.conf:
# Squid normally listens to port 3128
http_port 3128
I suspect you might be pointing out that there is no https_port configured. While I was adding https_port, I noticed no process is listening on port 3128 (doesn't appear in output of netstat -aon on Windows). So now the calls are failing with "WinHttpSendRequest: 12029: A connection with the server could not be established" 😕

Hello,
I haven't seen your packet trace but so far it shouldn't be needed.

have you set up your squid host:port as HTTP proxy in the application?
Can you see anything in squid logs?
