Why configure not detect ot my gcc-c++ package missing?

sure if i install gcc-c++,  it worked now.

maybe we need update Wiki document here
http://wiki.squid-cache.org/SquidFaq/CompilingSquid
to add new gcc-c++ package as dependency.
