[squid-dev] Porting Squid Debug Log Functionality

This question is not directly related to development on Squid, but I
thought the dev list would probably be in the best position to provide a
reasonable answer to it, so here it is:

How difficult would it be to abstract Squid's debug log code and port it to
another application?

The recipient application would be e2guardian, the currently maintained
fork of Dansguardian (a content filter).
