General discussion relating to Squid. The membership of this list is thousands of Squid users from around the world. As with most mailing lists, we don't like it when different people keep asking the same questions. If you have a question for Squid users, there is a good chance that others have also had the same question. Therefore, it is a good idea to check the Squid FAQ before posting a message. If you don't find an answer in the FAQ, you should also probably check the mail archive (select one below) or try the Squid-Cache.org Search Function. Questions about Squid features and configuration questions are welcome here. Also, this is a good list for suspected bugs. Using squid-users
To post a message to all the list members, send email to squid-users@lists.squid-cache.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to squid-users
Subscribe to squid-users by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
