Thank you for your nice reply.
Is is possible to bend this config for squid 3.5.19?
My distro (Gentoo) doesn't offer v4 squid... Latest "testing" is 3.5.20.
I have no problem with compiling code,
the thing I am concerned of is maintaining system in as much effortless
way as possible,
that is why I want to avoid non-distro sw.

squid -v output is on the end of mail.
