<div>Hi All,<br>
<br>
</div>
My name is Joel Noyce Barnham. I'm from the UK and work as a
Developer for Zynstra in Bath, working with various networking
and virtualization technologies.<br>
<br>
I have come across what I believe to be a bug in squid which
affected us recently when implementing a squid cache for certain
videos. The description of this reported bug <a
href="http://bugs.squid-cache.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3379"
target="_blank"><a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://bugs.squid-cache.org/">http://bugs.squid-cache.org/</a><wbr>show_bug.cgi?id=3379</a>
sounds exactly like what we were seeing.<br>
<br>
</div>
I believe I have a simple fix and would like some help in
preparing it in a way that would be acceptable to include in the
main squid project. What is the procedure I should follow for
submitting a patch? Should I just add it on the bug report on
bugzilla? <br>
<br>
I am also interested in squid in general and would like to get a
better idea for how it works and possibly be involved in the
development in future. <br>
<br>
