Hey Amos and Squid-Dev,

I have discussed with Alex about couple things at bug 4514 - Windows Update
works via interception proxy on 3.5.17, and no works via transparent proxy
on Squid 4.x.:
http://bugs.squid-cache.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4514#c27

The root cause of the bug is the Host header forgery test that squid does
which should not affect many connections but still does.

I have created a testing patch based on the bug report and couple ideas
emerged on a way to treat Intercepted connections compared to
non-intercepted.
Please join Alex and I in the bug report and move the discussion into this
thread.

Thanks,
Eliezer
